Hempstead rental building fetches $9M

Author: David Winzelberg

An apartment building in Hempstead has sold for $9 million. Bosfa Properties, a Lawrence-based real estate investment firm owned by Danny and Aron Goldstein, purchased the 60-unit building on 1.13 acres at 160 Hilton Ave. The three-story brick apartment building, first constructed in 1948, features detached garages and additional on-site parking. Peter Wolf of Select Real Equity Advisors represented the buyer, as well as the seller, 160 Hilton Associates LLC, in the sales transaction. “The owners of Bosfa Properties are savvy investors with whom I’ve completed over $200 million in transactions over the last two years,” Wolf said. “This property presented a good value-add opportunity, which is something they are always looking for.”
